An imprint of cut-out mirrors, placed here and there, clandestine and discreet, in the street but also with material “enamel on steel”, deflected / reflected from the roadways (street signs, road signs) on the walls of the city.
L.N.2.3. A mesh of mirrors, initiated by Hélène Lhote in 2002 in the form of an expedition through the city, they are also devices in the spaces entrusted to her: interiors, gardens. Like bursts of light, her mirrors punctuate the urban rhythm, the established cadence and bear witness to a passage, an affection, the recognition of a place or a presence. Reminiscences of the Persian culture that was familiar to her, these mirrors are a strong sign of a world that cannot be forgotten.
